Tip #1. Ask existing customers
Don’t have any customers yet?
Then ask fans and followers on your social media channels. You can post questions on your Facebook page, asking fans to reply with their comments, or you can ask your followers on Twitter. You’ll get better results on the social media channel that you are more active on and where your target readers are hanging out.
Not active on social media?
Then ask your friends for ideas surf up the web to see what other people in your blog niche are talking about.
Tip #2. Check out online forums like Quora
Quora is a huge Q&A website, and it’s a 5-min registration with your Twitter or Facebook account. Once registered, you can search for questions related to anything you want. Look for ideas for your blog niche so you can see what people need help with.
For example, search for “makeup” and you can get 3 ideas such as:
Top 3 best brands for foundation
Tips for an awesome makeup in 3 minutes or less
How to keep your makeup fresh in the summer
Tip #3. Check out other places online
Read blogs in your niche and see what their authors write about. Don’t copy them, but put your own spin to write about similar ideas.
Or just google the web. Say you have a photography business, you can search for “blogging ideas for photography” and get 3 ideas such as:
Top 3 tips to shoot a great photo in the rain
What I like best about my Sony camera
Inexpensive ideas to retouch your photos
